The submission to the Blog My Class Competition has finally comes to a closing.
We would like to thank all the classes who have submitted and not to forget the FMs for being so supportive. We really really appreciate the hard work of your students who really take their time off their books to come up with a tremendous class blog. Hey bloggers, time to knock on the books okay... Common Test is coming.
For classes who had submitted and yet with an empty postings, kindly do an update ok. Your class blog URL will soon be submitted to our judges.
We will keep you inform and updates of the result in a week time. Keep your fingers cross!
PS : Let this class blog be a continuous practice for all the classes. Everybody wants to read your blog!!

PS : We noticed that some classes have a very stylo, glittering, colorful blogskins, but we also want you to post in your entries. Write nice things about your classmates, teachers, talk about the recent Total Defence Day activities, write about yourself, post out your photos and make your class blog ALIVE!!!
A. Rules 1. Only one blog entry will be accepted per class.
2. All blog entries must be written in English.
3. All blog entries could include audio and video components as well as texts and graphics.
4. A panel of judges appointed by the organiser will judge the entries. Judges' decision is final and correspondence will not be entertained.
5. Organiser does not accept any responsibility for late or lost blog entries due to any problems related to the Internet.
6. Organiser and its agents are not in any way responsible or liable for damages, loss or injury resulting from participation in this competition.
7. By entering, entrants warrant that their entries do not violate or infringe the rights, including, without limitation, copyrights, trademark rights or rights of publicity/privacy, of any third party.
8. Entries must be suitable for publication (i.e. not obscene, offensive or indecent).
9. URL of the class blog MUST be emailed and received by 5:00 p.m. on 16th February 2009 (Monday).
10. Organiser is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections or other technical problems related to entries.
11. Organiser, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any entry containing racial or ethnic slurs, explicit language or sexual content or otherwise offensive or illegal material.
12. By entering, entrants accept and agree to abide by the terms of these official rules.
B. Eligibility The competition is divided into four categories. 1) Sec 1 category, 2) Sec 2 category, 3) Sec 3 and 4) Sec 4/5 category.
Each class can enter ONLY one blog for the competition. The competition is open to all classes in Ping Yi Secondary School.
C. Submission of Entry Please send the URL of your class blog to webadmin@pyss.edu.sg by 16th February 2009 (Monday), 5pm.
E. Prizes Each of the category will have one category winner that will be chosen by a group of judges based on the judging criteria as stated. Attractive prizes and class challenge trophy points will be awarded to all category winners.
F. Disqualification of Entries The judges may decide to disqualify an entry if it is, or they are of the opinion that:
1. There has been no timely and proper submission of entry. 2. The entry contains copyrighted materials which have not received clearance from the owners.

Tips
1) EXPOSE YOUR BEST CONTENT
Exposing your best content will enable people that come to the competition to see that you can
actually blog. Exposing your best content in a blog competition will also enable you to get extra
readers for your blog.
2) LINK BACK TO THE COMPETITION Only a link will do
You should also ask for a link back to the post of those that enter the blog competition. That will
increase other bloggers to send you more visitors from their blogs
3) MAKE IT BETTER THAN OTHERS
Don’t make your class blog competition boring. Offer something different or something that
people actually want.
Objectives
1. The various classes from the same level will compete with one another to see whose class blog
is the most vibrant and “happening” in Ping Yi.
2. To interconnect students from the same class as well as other classes.
